For the tenth year, a Kids Fishing Camp will be offered through the Minot Family YMCA at the Triangle YMCA Camp at Garrison. This camp is for youngsters 8-14. The fishing camp is sponsored by the North Dakota Game and Fish Department and conducted by volunteer fishing instructors. This year's dates have been set for June 6-12.

The goal of the fishing camp is to provide an opportunity for 80 kids to learn how to fish. Teachers who know youngsters who are from single parent families are urged to pass along this information. We especially want to reach kids who normally wouldn't get a chance to fish.

Cost of the seven-day camp is $190 and a limited number of youngsters are accepted each year.
