Dickinson Research Center OWLS - 2001

The NDSU Dickinson Research Center OWLS site was established in 1995. More recently, pond has been added along with a walkway or nature trail. An arboretum with hundreds of trees that were first planted just after the turn of the century is one of the main attractions of the site. There are also native grass plantings and a graden plot. The carefully labelling of the plants allows those interested in creating their own habitats a useful way to identify appropriate varieties.
