Opportunities Get Taken I would like you to consider the role that technology might play in improving writing skill and particularly in implementing the writing process approach. One theorist describes the benefits of technology and writing in terms of the "opportunities get taken" hypothesis. This roughly translates as technology allows you to be more adventuresome (more of a risk taker) and in taking risks you are more likely to advance your skills. I assume you have used a word processing program so you are familiar with the tools available. How might technology (computer, software, storage, etc.) contribute to the development of writing skills?? What opportunities do these tools make available? |
